Ten years on from their acclaimed debut release, Canadian rockers Born Ruffians are going back to basics. Loved all over for their “riotously good indie rock songs” (LOBF), their new album Uncle, Duke & The Chief reconnects with old heroes like Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers and pre-psychedelic Beatles. Mixing “peppy and infectious” (Clash) guitar riffs with darkly comic lyrics, the Ruffians will perform new tracks and favourites from the last decade.
