Biography
The Donut band is built around the good friendship of its members - Matt and Ian have known each other since early childhood and the boys have known Phil since the mid 90s, poaching him from another band!
Following moves up to Northants, Cambs and Beds, the lads decided to reform and with long time friend Steve Hughes on drums, the boys became a 4 piece again. Their first gig back together was at the Dunstable Beer Festival where they were a huge success and various pub gigs and weddings followed.
Since 2012 the band has gigged most weekends and become regular faces at some top music venues. In September 2013, Steve announced he would be leaving the band. The boys are fortunate to know some awesome drummers who have deputised, namely Chris York and Nathan Abela, the latter having covered a series of gigs. Nathan impressed so much, the band took him on full time in 2013 and the 4 piece was complete.
