March Bull City Food Swap! v Durty Bull Brewing Company
Love food? Love making food? Love local food culture? Love bartering? LOVE BEER?! Join us Monday March 19th at Durty Bull Brewing Company in Durham, NC.
Come swap homegrown, handmade, or foraged edible delights with like-minded food lovers from the NC Triangle Region.
What: A food swap is part silent auction/part village marketplace/part fun-loving open house where your homemade edible creations (breads, preserves, special concoctions, canned goods, etc.) become your own personal currency for use in swapping with other participants.
Who: We welcome everyone, as long as you bring something edible that YOU made, grew, or foraged yourself.
Tickets/cost: Donations Welcome.
On the day of the swap, please bring your hand crafted goods pre-portioned and packaged and arrive promptly at the start time. The first half-hour of the event is dedicated to swapper sign-in and set-up, and we’ll begin swapping once everyone’s settled in. Also, make sure to bring samples of your goods for others to try, increasing the likelihood of a successful swap!
If you have any questions whatsoever, please send a private message or an email to bullcityfoodswap@gmail.com. Thanks, and we’ll see you on the 19th.
