PBT by Marie Walton-Mahon (Progressing Ballet Technique) is an innovative program for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best in classical ballet. The programs have received positive feedback from teachers' and students worldwide.

The exercises and principles are hugely beneficial and can also be implemented as part of an 'at home' conditioning and stretching routine when you are not in class to support both ACROBATIC and BALLET/MODERN techniques. There is an initial outlay for equipment, although some of you may have the items already...

*A fit/Swiss ball for the required size for your height. (sizes below)
*Small ball (Lacrosse ball) 8"or 21cm in circumference.
*Medium soft ball 22"or 54cm in circumference (just a toy ball, from toy shop)
*Resistance band 9 feet/2.7 metres in length, 6"/ 15 cm wide medium strength.
*Pilates or Yoga roll up mat (for home use only)

FIT BALL sizes...
Under 4'8"/142cm 45 cm ball
4'8'' to 5'3''/142-160cm 55 cm ball
5'4'' to 5'10"/160-178cm 65 cm ball
5'10 to 6'4/178-193cm 75cm ball
For children who are 5 years and younger, always use a 45 cm ball.
