Ho Ho Ho! Welcome one and all to the wonderful world of The Fainting Couch! For one night only exquisite cabaret creatures come to Scunthorpe for the wildest Christmas Show in town. Be transported back to an evening of old-school glamour as some of the UK’s top burlesque and cabaret stars entertain you with comedy, circus, song and striptease! This line up is more exciting than an Iceland deluxe Christmas platter, even one with a prawn ring!
Leading proceedings for the night will be your own slutty Santa, Scunthorpe born and bred ELSIE DIAMOND. Now living and taking the cabaret scene by storm in Brazil, Elsie has performed in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Stockholm, Nice, Warsaw, Hamburg, Vienna, Amsterdam and Argentina. With her Jessica Rabbit figure, a voice from a bygone era and cheeky comic charm Miss Diamond will get the party started, keep it going and may even treat you to one or two of her own seasonal burlesque acts.

Our beautiful fairy on top of the tree and exciting newcomer is going to be the stunning VELVET FOX! Velvet is a foxy little vintage lady from Liverpool. Combining her 17 years of dance experience and love for ballet this is what makes up Velvet's unique style of performance. No need to go to the ballet this Christmas when we have Velvet providing classical dance mixed with Old Hollywood Glamour right here at The Fainting Couch.
