Cork Opera House is delighted to announce our summer musical theatre production for 2018, The Wizard of Oz. Following on from the success of the SOLD OUT run of Annie in 2017, Cork Opera House guarantees another production of the highest quality.
With internationally acclaimed director Wayne Jordan leading us along the yellow brick road you will be brought on a wonderful adventure as we create a new version of this heart-warming tale of magic and fantasy, good and evil, and above all friendship. This Cork Opera House production promises to be an amazing show.
Packed with classic characters and songs, The Wizard of Oz will deliver the quality our audiences have come to expect from Cork Opera House, with singing, dancing, lots of laughs and some tears. We are thrilled to be working with Wayne Jordan again and know that he will bring some new surprises and twists to this classic story.
