Having achieved the highest accolades with Wet Wet Wet, one of the most successful bands in UK pop history, Marti is now achieving that rare position of a highly successful career as both a solo artist and as a leading musical theatre star.
After performing from Broadway to Tokyo, in sold-out theatre tours and in many starring roles in London’s West End, Marti has had the privilege to star and work with some of the greatest in shows like the record breaking tour of The Witches of Eastwick.
His solo orchestral concerts, intimate jazz residencies, acoustic theatre tours and large arena pop concerts have built his solo career and rewarded his large following of ever growing fans with an extraordinary journey into his ceaseless passion for music. His most recent album Mysterious was recorded at Ocean Way studios in Los Angeles, creating a recognizable sound by collaborating with the Tower of Power horn section and some of the most credible players in America, with writers such as Allee Willis of Earth Wind & Fire’s Boogie Wonderland fame.
