Cardiff based 7 piece ska covers band consisting drums, bass, guitar, keys, trumpet, sax and vocals.
The Navarones can be found gigging all over South Wales, including Newport, Swansea, Pontypridd, Merthyr Tydfil, Blackwood, Caerphilly, Neath and beyond, as well as parts of England such as Bristol, Gloucester and Bath.
We cover the popular ska, reggae and rocksteady tunes from the likes of Madness, The Specials, Bad Manners, Bob Marley, Prince Buster, Toots and the Maytals, The Pioneers, The Skatalites, Desmond Dekker and more.
All band members have been gigging musicians for over 20 years with a pedigree of previous experience with the likes of The Oppressed, ACAB, Dire Streets, Diva Fever and The Special Brew. Performances have included prestigious venues such as Merlin's at the Celtic Manor Hotel, The Bull's Head in Barnes, as well as headlining festivals such as Newtfest, Dorset Steam Fair and Shirefest, and participating in the Specialized Project and Specialized The Big One in aid of the Teenage Caner Trust.
